Job Description

Our client is in the construction sector looking to recruit a Warehouse Officer who will report to the Store & Logistics Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To process and issue sales invoices to customers.
  • To assist the Store and Logistics Coordinator in maintaining a very high level of efficiency in store operations/transactions & transparency.
  • Proper safe delivery and storage of products
  • Ensure that storage area is being used at optimum capacity.
  • Keep stock level of products to optimum level.
  • Verify all purchase orders and proceed with invoices.
  • Preparing Sales Orders (Finished goods and wooden pallets) or generate sales order from Blanket order where applicable.
  • Posting and printing invoices/DNs.
  • Prepare sales order and generate invoices.
  • Update delivery planning with invoice reference.
  • Prepare VAT credit notes.
  • Issuing of VAT credit notes for pallet returns.
  • Issue credit notes.
  • Allocate credit note with relative invoice.
  • Cater for sequential order of return inwards being received and filed on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide detailed sales reports.
  • Perform inventory of amenities as per set protocols.
  • Investigate and report promptly to the Store and Logistics Coordinator on any anomalies identified and take appropriate action.
  • Ensure that all delivery documents are dully received as per sequential number from delivery planning.
  • Scan all delivery notes and save in dedicated shared folder with accounts department.
  • Update Delivery Planning with invoice number of signed delivery notes received and follow-up.
  • Pallets movement as per stock movement.
  • Keep close communication with HOD for all above issues.
  • Maintain daily stock report and notify stock replenishment to Store and Logistics Coordinator.
  • Proper housekeeping.
  • Abiding to Safety & Health Procedures.

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualification: HSC or equivalent with Forklift license.
  • At least Certificate in Warehouse/Stock Management/Supply chain or relevant.
  • At least 3 years in a similar environment.
  • Organized with strong planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
