Key Accountabilities

You will be mainly responsible for the below list of tasks:

  • Development of new features for the users of our specific Core HR System
  • Refactoring existing code in accordance with new standards
  • Writing code and libraries that can be re-used in our various microservices
  • Feasibility analysis of back-end requests
  • Optimisation of applications to ensure maximum processing speed
  • Writing technical documentation
  • Actively participate in technical design workshops

Technical environment to be used: Microservices architecture, Java/JEE8, Docker, Postgre SQL

Expectations, Experiences & Knowledge

Because of the critical nature of this role, they can only consider candidates who can demonstrate that they meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Degree in any related IT fields with at least 6 – 8 years’ experience in a development environment
  • Industry and full life cycle experience in a java-based environment, along with exceptional analytical, design and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent knowledge of Java/JEE8 (CDI, JPA, JTA)
  • Good technical skills on Git & GitLab (merge request/review)
  • Comfortable working with Rest API & SQL
  • Proven knowledge of process methodology and ability to develop and improve process
  • Excellent English-written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independent
  • Good team player


  • Multinational exposure & experience
  • Knowledge of Human Resources
  • Experience in Agile methodology using Scrum framework
  • French speaking
