Job Description

Objectives

  • To support the Talent Development Manager including managing L&D group projects, continuous development of new internal training and creating, editing, and maintaining L&D’s program’s content
  • To establish the monitoring and evaluation of all development activities within the company to ensure performance improvement and return on investment for the organization
  • To assist the Talent Development Manager to source all training needs from all functions and manage interface with HR and suppliers
  • Plan, conduct and administer programs that train, develop and improve employees’ skills, knowledge and attitude

Responsibilities

 Learning & Development

  • Delivering training sessions for our internal partners and overseeing training courses delivered by trainers
  • Designing and developing learning solutions, team buildings, talent development programmes based on internal partner needs
  • Managing the delivery, quality, and effectiveness of training programmes by internal and external trainers
  • Assist Talent Development Manager in performing Learning Needs Analysis and other initial enquiries with internal partners to better understand their needs; and following up on the Return on Training Investment (ROTI)
  • Preparing presentations with high quality visual designs and videos
  • Facilitate discussions for set up and maintenance of development for all employees and follow up on development plans identified

 L&D Group Projects

  •  Assist in maintaining the talent management strategy and framework in place
  • Engage and support in talent management initiatives
  • Support the maintenance and follow up on the succession plan and development initiatives for business-critical roles
  • Engage and support all L&D Group projects and initiatives, including reporting to Talent Development Manager

Course Development & Delivery

  • Participate in the conception and development of internal training programmes
  • Developing and proofreading training content for the Learning Management System
  • Deliver on internal training programme when required
  • Help the HODs to develop mechanisms to increase the follow up factors and Return on Investment of training
  • Work on the development of new courses
  • Review existing training and amend or update as appropriate to ensure effectiveness
  • Use a pedagogical and inclusive approach to aid the learning process
  • Building and leveraging strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, subject matter experts, training teams and leaders to design engaging content for learning activities and programs
  • Assist the Talent Development Manager in undertaking partnerships and collaboration agreements with potential trainers and key business partners
  • Review existing training and amend or update as appropriate to ensure effectiveness

Communication

  • Work with Communication department to promote the training centre using the Group’s social platform learning tools to engage learners
  • Engage and support the Talent Development Manager in promoting and communicating the different offerings of the training centre
  • Monitoring and communicating about the L&D department activities

Research & Development

  • Constantly research on new methodologies and techniques to enhance the current offerings of the training centre
  • Engage and support the Talent Development Manager in conducting regular focus groups within the Group to understand the needs and requirements of our internal customers
  • Present a report on all findings on a quarterly basis

Technical Competencies

  • Highly computer literate
  • Advanced level of MS Office Pack; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience as a Trainer is an advantage
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Learning and Development
  • Previous experience in similar environment
