Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit a Manager/Senior Manager – Fund Operations who can perform these responsibilities:
- Compliances: Compliance of Offshore Fund based out of Mauritius.
- Operations/NAV: Shadow accounting, reconciliation and approvals of NAVs of for the offshore Fund.
- Accounting: Clearing Invoices of offshore fund. Coordinating for the audit of the Fund and investment manager.
- Trading: Placing trade orders. Allocating trade across SMA and main Fund parri-passu. The firm does not trade much.
- Research: Compiling/ Research, ensuring policies and documentation to ensure compliance of POEM etc. Prior experience is not necessary, and hand holding would be provided by the COO.
- IR: Updating and providing performance updates, presentations, attributions, holdings and other data to investors and addressing their queries and supporting the VP IR from time to time when required. Subscriptions/redemptions and queries Coordination with administrators for subscriptions/redemptions of offshore fund supporting VP IR.
- Additional expertise: Knowledge of side letters/agreements and some compliances related to US, ADV’s, experience of ODDs of investors.
- Additional expertise Structuring/taxes: Structuring of new funds/structures in India or overseas, gift city, knowledge/experience of transfer pricing/ POEM/handling tax litigation.
Relevant Experiences
- 4-10 years of experience.
- Should be sharp with good communication skills, fluency in English.
- Should be self-driven, process and long term oriented with an eye for detail.
