Job Description

Our client is looking to fill the role of Group Payroll Officer in their HR team. The Group Payroll Officer will be responsible to manage the company’s payroll data.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll on a monthly basis and maintain all employee records on Payroll Sicorax
  • Processing of overtime payment for site workers including liaison with different site managers for required fingerprint and attendance sheets
  • Review of monthly payroll with CFO and director
  • Preparation of bank transfer documents and cheques for salary payment
  • Assist external auditors with all queries relating to payroll as well as CFO/Director as and when required
  • Prepare and submit PAYE, CSG & PRGF returns on monthly basis via MNS and MRA websites and ROE on a yearly basis
  • Prepare and issue statement of emoluments on a yearly basis
  • Prepare Payroll Reports for the accounting department to send on a monthly basis
  • Create HR files and manage respective employee folders with by updating relevant information as and when required
  • Attend mail correspondence
  • Responsible for dispatch and postage of documents relating to payroll
  • Perform any other cognate duties and prepare any report as may be required by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting or Management
  • ACCA Level 1
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
