Job Description
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Manager – Operations to manage financial aspects of operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and overseeing key financial processes. This role involves supporting both the CEO and CFO with delegated tasks, handling internal audits, and providing coverage for the accounts team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
KYC and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with KYC protocols and relevant financial regulations, including AML and CFT standards.
Statutory Requirements:
- Oversee statutory filings, board resolutions, and corporate governance compliance.
Treasury Management:
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, foreign exchange strategies, and debt compliance.
Insurance Management:
- Oversee insurance coverage for operations, negotiate contracts, and manage claims.
Board and Audit Packs:
- Prepare board and audit committee packs with accurate financial and operational information.
Trade Finance Compliance:
- Handle compliance for trade finance documentation, including client account submissions and import documentation.
Internal Audits:
- Perform internal audits, recommend improvements, and ensure strong internal controls.
Accounts Team Support:
- Step in for absent accounts team members to maintain continuity of operations.
CEO and CFO Support:
- Assist the CEO and CFO with delegated tasks and high-priority financial matters.
