Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit an Accountant to join its growing Mauritian team. The ideal candidate will be someone dedicated, and willing to grow in a remote team setting to provide efficient and quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Accounting team in their daily duties
- Verify bank balances and arrange for payments
- Maintain records in PPLI system
- Assist in preparation of reports, presentation and financials
- Provide assistance to companies within the group as required
- Calculation of Salary and other related tasks
- Liaise with auditors and other service providers
- Assist the accounting team in projects
- Any other related cognate tasks
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accounting or Finance and at least ACCA Level 2
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Positive attitude and pleasant nature
- Fast learner and ability to adapt to changes
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
